To roll up your sleeves and re-imagine the way we think about the relationships between brands and citizens. To build and launch new models that impact paid, owned and earned communications for some of the biggest brands in the world.

The role.

We’re growing our Comms Strategy discipline at the agency, working to infuse journey-based thinking into all of our business.  There’s a lot of momentum, and this hire will help us take this work to the next level.

We are in search of a seasoned communications strategist to help fuel and sell amazing brand engagements that inspire people, make their lives better, and disrupt the status quo.  This hire will lead the effort to define and map our customer’s decision journey, identifying barriers to overcome and opportunities to connect people with our brands.  With this knowledge, this person will create communications missions that inspire and direct the creative process, working hand in hand with cross-discipline teams to expand their thinking, invent new channels, and create better work.

Influence is the name of the game: We want someone who’s a natural collaborator, innately good at getting people on board, and a driver of integration and alignment.  But we also want a doer, a McGyver-like problem solver who loves to…who needs to…roll up her/his sleeves and really dig in.  We believe past performance is an indicator of future success, so we’ll be looking for a proven track record of partnering with creative teams and influencing the work in a palpable way.

The responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Defining and designing data driven Customer Decision Journeys. 
  • Prioritizing and aligning internal teams, clients, and external partners on the most important initiatives to drive business and marketing goals. 
  • Developing and briefing creative missions to overcome barriers along the journey that inspire creative teams to think differently about assignments. 
  • Partnering with creative, content, and media teams to concept, develop, and sell creative solutions to clients and external agency partners. 
  • Driving integration and alignment between internal teams, clients and partner agencies to ensure work is being executed as designed.
  • Insuring proper measurement and optimization of both media and message is being achieved throughout the campaign.

The qualifications.

Professional: Mastery of the media landscape (both on and offline).  Fluency in the ad and tech industry.  Strategic leadership.  Experience using industry tools and resources. Data/analytics-driven storytelling chops.  Impressive writing skills.  Excels at presenting, particularly to clients.  Strong presence.

Personal: Positive, can-do attitude.  Collaborative.  Self-starter.  Quick study.  Curious and passionate.  Creative energy.  Perfectionist.  Finger on the pulse of what’s happening now.  Rule breaker.  Boundary pusher.
