Or being obsessed with being clean. But for the clean freaks out there, who since birth have sought to rid the world of all things dirty, the fight against filth just got some reinforcements — in the form of a sleek, silver soldier who gracefully eliminates dirt, dust and pet hair with the strength of ten thousand cyclones.
Having celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2008, Hoover decided to reintroduce their brand through the launch of their new Platinum Collection and advertising campaign at the Academy Awards.
And like Slumdog Millionaire, you could say that Hoover really cleaned up at the Oscars. With pre- and post-shows from the Red Carpet and even an award for "Best Action Short", Hoover and The Martin Agency announced to clean freaks, and their dirty friends, that a vacuum has finally attained the ultimate standard of clean.
