You have the ability to identify a project’s needs; including communication styles, resources, and risks to mitigate. 

You understand that all of these elements play a role in the success of our agency and its clients. 

As a Project Manager I, you are expected to have an understanding of the steps and processes required to complete a wide variety of agency projects. In an effort to strengthen this understanding, you will be expected to support senior and mid-level project managers in the development and execution of project plans.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as interdepartmental contact for assigned projects, with continuous senior-level oversight
  • Work with various departments to deploy the needed resources on a per-project basis
  • Under guidance of a senior project manager, generate and maintain all project timelines to ensure delivery of work as scheduled
  • Assist senior-level project manager(s) in managing the creative development process and coordinating with production partners
  • Create and maintain detailed records of the life of a project and share information as needed; maintain accurate project information on the Agency’s shared server and Workfront.
  • Manage priorities per project, including weekly and daily status reports, Workfront maintenance.
  • Circulate internal materials (comps, presentations, mechanicals, proofs etc.…) for approval
  • Expand your knowledge of new technologies and innovative methods of production in order to contribute to the creative process
  • Ensure discussion recaps/conference reports are executed and understood by all team members

 Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:    

  • Interest in building understanding of all production disciplines: print, digital, broadcast and non-traditional media
  • Self-motivated, quick study with exceptional time management skills
  • Collaborative and steady disposition; strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills accompanied by the ability to prepare accurate and detailed documentation
  • Effective troubleshooting, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • The ability to prioritize, handle multiple tasks, manage deadlines, be flexible and proactive
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Agency departments
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications; willingness to learn a range of technologies and communication tools. A working knowledge of Project Management systems, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Keynote, etc. a plus

Education, Experience and TrainingBachelor's degree required; degree in marketing field a plus. A minimum of 1 year of project management experience– OR – Any equivalent combination of education, experience and/or training sufficient to demonstrate the knowledge, skills and abilities.
