In 2010, the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts needed a modern rebranding to match their highly anticipated new building and exhibits. We worked with the museum to create a multimedia campaign that showcased the museum’s new offerings. From mobile art to social content and new uses of augmented reality, we were able to attract people from around the world to the VMFA.

Breathe Art into Life: Chihuly at the VMFA

To complement Chihuly’s exhibition at VMFA, we worked with unit9 in London to create the first-ever glassblowing iPhone app, inspired by Chihuly’s unique art process. By simply blowing into their iPhones, users can bend, curve and mold their works of art in 3D, adding texture, color and more shapes until their creations are complete.
