In 1994, the Government Employees Insurance Company came to us with a challenge: take a low-interest category, an unfamiliar direct-to-consumer business model, an acronym no one could pronounce and an industry filled with scare tactics, and change everything. And we did, replacing fear with humor and adding multiple storylines and pop culture icons (i.e., a gecko, caveman and camel).

Results: In our 20+ years together, GEICO has grown from number eight to number two in the category and continues to grow. The work has also won a few awards along the way, too. But who’s counting?

Geico Mobile App

GEICO knows no two human beings are alike. We have different needs, priorities and issues. That’s why, in 2014, we helped concept, design and create a new GEICO mobile app that has the ability to learn, morphing into an all-knowing insurance companion that’s specifically tailored to each customer.

In an accident? This app already knows and will have your claim available. Car in the shop? You can track the process from drop-off to pick-up. Need Emergency Roadside Assistance? Tell the app what’s wrong and help will be there in a flash. ID Card? Turn the app sideways and it appears like magic. It’s simple, smart and delightfully powerful. And in 2014, it was named Forrester’s Top Auto Insurance App.
