Every year, college students from around the country descend on our Richmond headquarters for a 10-day crash course in all things Martin and advertising. And it's just like real advertising.
Just like real advertising, students make ads. The teams will break into small groups to conceptualize, create and present a marketing campaign, from brief to execution. The students will then present to agency executives for a chance to win cash and prizes!*
Just like real advertising, students attend meetings in meeting rooms. In those rooms, agency management across all disciplines will lead seminars about their specific disciplines, the creative process and the industry as a whole.
Just like real advertising, students work long hours, have access to free snacks and can wear whatever they want. There was a memo once about tube tops. Wear tube tops at your own risk.
*"Cash and prizes" limited to bragging rights, the inner satisfaction of a job-well-done, possibly a certificate, probably some extra slices of pizza.

Take 15 over-achieving prodigies from the worlds of art, copy, design, film, digital and business; then give them the best real-world assignments and you get The Martin Agency Kitchen. No, we won't bore you with culinary puns and hackneyed cooking metaphors. Although that would be fun.
For three months you'll be dedicated to bringing awesome to life like it's Frankenstein, creating game-changers in film, apps, art, social platforms, installations and communication. Participants will be mentored by some of the most awarded creatives in the industry. The people who created Hump Day, Wonderfilled, Clouds Over Cuba, and the GEICO Caveman.
Most importantly, you'll get real work in your book and real awards on your shelf. So, if you're hungry and want to see what the ad world's really like, time to get cookin'. Yeah, sorry about that.
