At Martin, Account Leadership connects clients and creative to make work that grows brands. This residency is for someone who wants to build a career in Account Leadership and learn how great ideas move from brief to launch.
You’ll get to know your client’s business and category, track competitive and cultural trends, and support the development of creative briefs. You’ll own the basics that keep projects running to include writing recaps, managing status docs, coordinating meetings, and learning how timelines, scopes, and budgets work. When campaigns go live, you’ll help ship final assets to media partners, making sure everything is approved, spec’d correctly, and delivered on time.
We’re looking for someone curious, organized, and proactive, with some related experience in marketing, communications, business, or a client-facing environment. Internships, campus leadership roles, and part-time work all count. You should be comfortable managing multiple priorities, communicating clearly, and collaborating across teams.
By the end of the residency, you will be confident engaging with the business, proactively anticipating team needs, and making meaningful contributions, positioning yourself to step into an Account Leadership role.

To be a Brand Strategy Resident at Martin is to ask better questions and then keep asking. We dig into human behavior, culture, and business problems to uncover insights that fuel great creative work. We turn research into clarity and curiosity into direction. We’re listeners, thinkers, translators, and collaborators working closely with creatives, account leaders, and clients to help shape ideas that matter. Our job is to make the work smarter, sharper, and more meaningful, ensuring every idea has a strong “why” behind it.
In this residency:
You help uncover the why behind the work. You dig into culture, audiences, and brands to find insights that spark strong creative ideas. You can explain your thinking, why an insight matters, how it connects to real people, and what it unlocks for the work—to creative partners and Strategy leadership.
You’re comfortable sharing your thinking early and often. You like talking through half-formed ideas, questions, and observations, and you’re open to feedback as a way to sharpen your point of view.
You’re tapped into culture and people. You notice patterns, shifts, and tensions in how people think, feel, and behave and you’re curious enough to keep learning. You know what’s relevant now, what feels dated, and what could shape what’s next.
You’ll work across the tools that support strategic thinking and collaboration: Mac OS, Google Slides, Keynote, and shared documents. Bonus points if you’ve played with research tools, social listening, or basic data analysis.
